Songwriter Showcase – Friday, March 6th

Head over to Tuvalu Coffeehouse at 300 S. Main in Verona on Friday, March 6 at 7:30 pm for MSG’s Songwriter Showcase.  John Duggleby hosts this monthly event featuring great area songwriters, followed by an open mic for anyone who wants to perform their original compositions.

This month will feature talented Keith Hampton, Tuvalu’s music manager, and versatile songsmith Les Hoffman.  Suggested $5 donation, $3 for students/seniors.   For more information or if you’d like to be considered as a future featured artist, contact John directly at me@johnduggleby.com.

Songwriters in the Round – Wed, 2/25/15 @ The Brink

MSG holds it’s premier event, Songwriters in the Round, on Wednesday, February 25th at 7:00 PM at The Brink Lounge. Featured songwriters this month include:

Lynn Smith
Mark Adkins of Subvocal
Wolfgang Lochner

There is a $5 Cover that goes to cover the cost of the venue and to give these local songwriters a little walkin’ around money for the show. We’ll see you there!

Open Song Critique – Wed, Feb 18th

MSG holds its monthly song critique on Wednesday, February 18th at 7 p.m.
at Noodles & Company on University Avenue. Bring a song or lyric to play
live or on a CD and get instant feedback from local songwriters, and give
some of your own. Incomplete, new or nearly new songs are encouraged.

Technical Difficulties on this site…

The Madisonsongwriters.com site is currently experiencing some technical difficulties, having inexplicably reverted back to 2012 posts. We’ve got our best songwriter minds on it and will hopefully come up with a fix or a workaround soon. Now if we could just remember where we parked our DeLorean…
