Special Critique/Workshop – Wed., 5/18

By admin

Plan to head over to Noodles & Co., 3600 University Avenue on Wednesday, May 18th at 7 p.m. for this month’s song critique, which is a special combined event with our Tune Up Your Songwriting workshop. This month’s event features a very special guest imported from England, Zoe Mulford, who will share her experiences as a songwriter and touring musician and pass on some of the lessons she has learned along the way.

Zoe is an award winning folk artist who plays guitar and banjo and lives in the north of England. By turns powerful and funny, her songs may consider anything from Franklin’s doomed polar expedition to the neglected vegetables in her refrigerator. She is a warm and engaging performer who draws on the traditional music of the US and the British Isles to make sense of the modern world.

Zoe will be available to critique songs in the second half of the workshop, so bring a song or lyric to play live or on CD and get some immediate feedback.

For more information on either the monthly critique or the Tune Up Your Songwriting workshop, click over to the Events page.
