Songwriters in the Round, April 28th – new 7:30 time

By admin

The April 28th edition of Songwriters in the Round promises to be absolutely unique.. We don’t mean the fact that it’s all women. We mean the fact that it’s ALL KEYBOARDS!  Between the jazz-based music of Nancy Rost, the pop/rock influenced work of Hannah Busse, and the 19th Century Art Song style of Jen Logueflower, this SIR is one you won’t want to miss. We hear that they are planning some cross-overs and collaborations  as well.

Note the time change: From April through August, Songwriters in the Round (SIR) will start at 7:30 p.m. on the 4th Wed. of the month at The Brink Lounge. For more information, check out the Events page.

MSG is now the “Madison Songwriters Guild.” MSG believes the name change, while replacing only 4 letters, better emphasizes the craft involved in creating songs. There are a lot of other exciting changes going on around here, so check back often!
